Frequently Asked Questions

We understand that no two projects are ever the same but here are some solutions to common problems.

Question 1: How much will my home cost to build?

While we'd love to be able to provide you with a simple meter squared rate, every home is different in its own unique way. We always recommend getting a concept plan done to capture your vision. With a concept plan completed we'll be able to much more easily provide you with a ball park figure for your build.

Question 2: What do I need to have before I'm ready to build?

At the very least, you'll need to have a set of architectural plans, structrual engineering plans and geotechnical report.

Question 3: How long will my build take to complete?

We've found that our renovations, extensions, single homes & duplexes will take up to 6 months to complete. Multi-unit residential sites will take slightly longer at approximately 7-8 months to complete.

Question 4: How long does it take for me to get a quote back?

We typically take 24-48 hours to provide you with a budget price. Should our budget price fall within your budget, we will proceed with a fixed price quote which usually takes between 2-4 weeks depending on the size of the project and time of the year.

Question 5: What are some things that we can do to keep within budget?

We recommend clients has us price in all the things you would ideally want from your build. Once the pricing has been completed it is much easier to understand how far off for your budget you are and begin removing things from this point.
